Outlaw's background lies in clinical medicine, public health, and education. Outlaw has a passion for equity, serving as an inaugural member of the Equity Leadership Collaborative at Boston University. Outlaw's knowledge in equitable research practices is built from frameworks in Black feminism, decolonization, and critical race praxis.
Outlaw earned their MPH at Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Biology and Theatre at Macalester College
